winter palace

trans siberian.. we will show it to you! more than 9000 km, a legendary travel through 2 continents: we are starting from russia, ...passing through mongolia and finally arriving in china trans siberian do-it-yourself? you can do it for sure! we had 20 days to discover cities, people, food that are changing every kilometer under the slow but inexorable clank of the train we will see the hermitage in saint petersburg

we will take a walk in the red square of mosow we will discover siberian cities never heard before we will cross the border between europe and asia we will ride horses in the mongolian steppes and we will arrive in tienanmen square at beijing all this trying to better knowing the people that are living here tasting their food.. more or less tempting according to the situation

and we will be fascinated by their traditions we will also share some travel accidents together with some tips for who wants to do the same travel are you ready? are you excited??? let's go!!! so, what's the trans siberian? mith to dispel: there isn't only one train, but it's a network of train that is the longest in the world crossing russia from coast to coast

from saint petersburg untill vladivostok it has been built by zar decision and the russians completed it in 25 years in extreme conditions, both for weather and landscape in addition to the track sain petersbourg - vladivostok there are also 2 others well-known tracks: the trans manchurian that arrives in china turning south in the last part and the trans mongolian

that also arrives in beijing but crossing mongolia and gobi desert our choice is the trans mongolia, the most various and interesting according to cultural and natural standpoint what are we waiting for? let's go to saint petersburg! we are sitting in the airplane in this huge aeroflot

in direction saint petersburg it takes around 3 hours by plane to arrive in saint petersburg and there will start the 2nd travel phase guys, first impressions: just arrived in saint petersburg let's say..a bit grey and wet even if it's august, there's a fall climate the rain and the grey buildings of the suburbs make our arrival a bit melancholy

but saint petersburg will surprise us to start, we discovered that it has been the russian capital for more than 200 years and walking in the city we found the curch of the savior on blood builted up where the zar alexander 2nd has been killed

amazing! and also the sun has come out! unbelivable.. i was expecting that sad weather with rain and stuff.. and instead of this, a city full of life, sunny.. if i could i would move here tomorrow morning but unluckily i have to go back to italy but by now.. enjoy it! we are impressed by the big amount of channels but even more by the local hobbyes!

the winter palace! where there's the hermitage one of the best museum and collection of all europe this square is huge! it seems to be on several soccer fields.. maybe through the camera you don't feel it but it gives an incredible sensation of vastness let's go to see it? we are walking inside the hermitage

it's really huge there are many paintings, sculptures, all very interesting! i don't record everything or we would need hours.. but this is huge mary, what do you think about the hermitage? in the paintings the women have moustache! it's a beauty stereotype different from today.. ...and they have white hair and black eyebrows! specially at the age of 4!

yep! now we are in the small hermitage wanted by katherina because the one she already had wasn't enough i guess.. so she wanted a personal "depandance" small, eh? amazing... really! in the hermitage were living for more than 2 centuries the romanov zar families until the october revolution

in the rooms there is never ending luxury and also many italian artworks and as i am venetian..i recognize the rialto bridge! san marco square.. some tourists are fighting until dead to take a picture of some leonardo's paintings we are in a very typical russian restaurant the atmosphere is a bit surreal... with this classical music we are going to eat a red caviar! what's the most touristic thing you can do in st petersburg?

obviously the boat ride on the neva river that is the longest river that passes through the city and reaching the sea the cool thing is there are these rivers that are passing on the neva and every night from 1 to 4am they are all pulled up to let the bigger boats passing on it we are passing under one of them... now in the night it's quite impressive, with all these bridges up the cars are waiting to pass, people are taking pictures

in the evening we met irina unluckily we lost the recording, but we can tell you she comes from here and one of the few person that speaks english as she studied in the usa she has been in italy and she likes the sound of italian voices that looks like a song actually, russian language seems a bit hard and mono-tone
